About our Certificate II in Nail Technology

We at VIVid Academy understand what is like to be busy yet wanting more from everyday. Learning a new skill or simply refreshing some old skills can provide further technical development and personal achievement enabling, new work opportunities or personal development. This is why we have developed a series of avenues which makes learning the Art of Nail Technology more accessible and flexible.

Vivid Academy was founded and created by Viv Simmonds. Viv brings many years of experience and technical prowess to this ever changing industry. Within Australia, Viv ‘s involvement and achievement within the competition circuit is yet to be surpassed. She has held the Rob Bowrey Perpetual Trophy for 4 consecutive years and was also awarded the Champion of Champions Title in 2005. These as well as numerous awards of excellence for her Technical and Artistic ability has also taken her around the world where there too she has displayed exemplary skills and been awarded many prestigious trophies. Her passion to learn and teach is reflected in the courses which we at VIVid offer.

We have developed a course for everyone!

We have two options for you.

Option One consists of 14 classes which cover all aspects of Nail Technology from Manicure & Pedicare to Refills and Rebalancing, these 14 classes are one-on-one with one of our Award winning VIVid Educators. Additional practise hours are completed at home and work is assessed via E-Learning. All the theory components are also completed via E-Learning.

Option Two is entirely based on E-Learning suiting those who are simply live in an area which is too remote, interstate, overseas or simply prefer this method of learning. This form of learning is delivered via a series of DVDs and direct internet access.

As you can see the diversity and flexibility in the way our courses are offered means we can cover your individual needs in achieving your goals.

AAANNNNDDDD...our very own KYLIE FLOROS (trained by Viv from Novice - Certificate III in Beauty Services to advanced training in all areas) who placed 2nd in Flat Nail Art.
